Hey y'all! Can you believe it's been almost three years since Baldur's Gate 3 dropped? Even now, in 2026, my Tav and I are still living our best lives in Faerûn. The absolute game-changer for keeping things fresh? Mods, honey! Larian was totally on point encouraging the modding community. It's impossible to please everyone, but letting players customize their campaigns? Chef's kiss. There are a few areas where you might feel the base game left you wanting, but with the mod manager, it's easier than ever to pick up where they left off and create your perfect adventure. Since we all know the story inside out by now, let's talk about the real endgame: fashion and firepower. I've been diving deep into the Nexus to find the best class-based equipment mods to make your next campaign feel like a brand-new game. Let's get into it!

1. Barbarian: Rage in Style

For my fellow rage enthusiasts, GraphicFade's "Rage and Resilience" mod is a must-have. It adds thirty new items, with ten in each act, designed specifically for the barbarian class. The best part? These items blend seamlessly into the game. You won't feel like you're breaking immersion. Most items give extra buffs and abilities to your Rage, but there are also some general goodies that work with almost any character. Pro tip: pair it with the same creator's "Fade's Equipment Distribution" mod to have these goodies distributed randomly throughout your adventure—adds a lovely bit of surprise! This creator is a legend; they have similar immersive mods for every class. If you're not vibing with the mods I mention for other classes, check out their page. They even have an "All In One" pack that's recently become available for console players. How convenient is that?

2. Bard: Be the Pirate Queen You Were Meant to Be

Listen, if you're not playing a bard with swagger, what are you even doing? User copperleaves created "CL_Pirate Queen Gear," an incredibly stylish pirate-themed armor set designed for a rogue/bard multiclass. It comes with various armor pieces, and two options for gloves and boots. Thematically, it's perfect for a Swashbuckler Rogue, but OMG the buffs for bards are everything. You can grab it from the tutorial chest, but most abilities unlock at certain levels. For example, a level six bard wearing the "Pirate Queen Fingerless Gloves" can cast an illusion or enchantment spell as a bonus action after a weapon attack. This works particularly well with a College of Swords bard. The synergy is real! The set gets seriously powerful late-game, but hey, on Tactician mode, you need every advantage you can get.

3. Cleric: Glow Up with Shadowheart

Another masterpiece from copperleaves is "CL_Inconstant Moon - Cleric Gear." This is the perfect equipment for Shadowheart or your own Sharran/Selünite cleric. Most pieces fit all body types (finally, some inclusivity!), and the death, life, light, tempest, and war domains each get unique armors to suit their vibes. There are nine sets for Shar and nine for Selüne. You'll be spoiled for choice, trust me. The mod also includes an array of boots, hats, and gloves. Now you and Shadowheart can have matching shiny new outfits. It's a whole aesthetic.

4. Druid: No More Early-Game Struggles

Let's be real, a lot of the early weapons for druids are pretty underwhelming. Enter MW_Ridire's "Omni Druid staff." This mod combines all the Act One druid staffs into one glorious weapon. Since it only uses early-game material, this weapon isn't completely OP, but it will prevent you from feeling too weak outside of wildshape. You'll still want the legendary Markoheshkir in Act Three, but this modded staff is a fun and surprisingly balanced piece that can carry you until then.

Staffs Included:

  • Nature's Snare

  • Melf's First Staff

  • Corellon's Grace

  • Pale Oak

  • Sorrow

It also gets the Sussur Weapon bonus! Since it has so many abilities, the author didn't add an enchantment bonus, but you still get the +1 bonus to spell save DCs from Melf's first staff. It's an easy way to make Act One way more enjoyable for our nature friends.

5. Fighter: Fifty Shades of Gear

copperleaves is back at it again with "CL_Grim Visag'd War - Fighter Gear." This mod adds fifty pieces of equipment for fighters and martial melee characters. You can find them at vendors or in the tutorial chest. Some items are specifically made for githyanki, so this is a perfect add-on if you usually have Lae'zel in your party or are playing as a gith yourself. The mod includes both camp clothes and armor, so you can mix and match for the perfect look and stat combo. Fashion souls in BG3? Yes, please!

6. Monk: Breathe New Life into Four Elements

The Way of the Four Elements is generally considered one of the weakest monk subclasses in both BG3 and DnD. Thankfully, user Gammawz created the "Monk Way of the 4 Elements - Equipment Set" mod to give it some much-needed love. Equipping these items will allow you to deal larger amounts of elemental damage and buff yourself more often. It's not a total overhaul, just a thoughtful boost to make the subclass actually worth playing. Finally, my Avatar fantasy can be realized!

7. Paladin: Your Signature Sword Awaits

If you love the idea of having a signature weapon that grows with you, SwiftManslayer's "Paladin Greatsword" mod is for you. It adds a strong, but not ridiculously overpowered, weapon you can get early and upgrade as you progress. You can initially get it by taking down the Spider Matriarch, but you'll need to find a couple of special diamonds to unlock its full potential. It's a solid sword to carry you throughout the game. The radiant damage from its Sunfall ability is deadly when combined with a divine smite. Even if you're not a paladin, it's a great weapon. For something more paladin-specific, check out StoneofSauron's "Paladin_Ring" mod, which adds a ring to the Owlbear cave chest that grants an extra spell slot and oath charge. So useful!

8. Ranger: From Simple to Stylish

Eclipse_5 and Ghouls0Rule's "Ranger's Leather Armor" mod adds a few more simple, balanced equipment options for rangers throughout the game. These all add simple bonuses and feel like they could be in the vanilla game. For more flair, Skirbie's "Death Archer" set is gorgeous. Unlike the leather armor, it comes with several unique abilities. The best part? The power of the armor and weapon set scales with you, meaning you can keep that iconic, deadly look for your whole campaign. No more mismatched gear!

9. Rogue: Steal Time, Look Good Doing It

Poesielibre's "Rogue Armor" mod is similar to the ranger one—it adds simple outfit options that grant small bonuses to dexterity and stats. A quick heads-up: these only work for body type one, so sadly, you can't properly equip our favorite vampire spawn, Astarion, with them. But if you're playing a rogue who fits, these are fantastic pieces of balanced early-game clothing.

For something with more punch, The_real_Leon's "More Rogue Gear" mod adds unique weapons and armor. My absolute favorite item has to be the "Time Stealer." It slows enemies while granting you the effects of Haste. Talk about an unfair advantage! If you're in the mood for something truly overpowered and fun, reflamedrake's "Sun King" set is a blast to play with.

10. Sorcerer: Embrace the Dark Urge

For all my evil spellcasters and Dark Urge enthusiasts, RevolutionScribe's "Bhaalist Daggers" are perfection. Considering Durge's default class is a sorcerer, it's slightly surprising something like this isn't already in the game. The mod adds two daggers similar in power to Bloodthirst and Crimson Mischief, but they're designed to be wielded by spellcasters instead of rogues. Finally, a proper weapon for your murderous magical inclinations.
